Forget Google, Here’s The Best Place To Get Leads

Here’s the link to that social marketing
video I talked about a couple days ago.

http://donnawells.marketersmanifesto.com/BetterThanGoogle/

If you don’t watch this you’re missing
out on a golden opportunity to learn
more about…

YouTube.

MySpace.

Facebook.

Squidoo.

Twitter.

And a slew of other social marketing sites
you can use right now to build your networking
business for free.

(In fact, Mike reveals 18 different free sites he uses
to get over 6,300 visitors to just ONE of his blogs
EVERY WEEK — without spending anything on ads.)

The first time I saw this video it gave me
goosebumps because there is SO MUCH
potential!

Click here and you’ll see what I mean.

http://donnawells.marketersmanifesto.com/BetterThanGoogle/

You might remember in my last email I said
these sites got “millions upon millions”
of visitors each day…

—————————————–
WELL I’M AFRAID I
WASN’T SPECIFIC ENOUGH
—————————————–

I’m afraid you casually read that number
and didn’t really think anything of it.

So I did some more digging and I stumbled
upon Comscore’s website.

The same internet research company Mike
refers to in the video.

Here’s what I found.

84.8 million viewers watched videos on
YouTube in March 2008.

THAT’S 84.8 MILLION! (84,800,000)

IN THE MONTH OF MARCH ALONE!

How about Facebook?

According to Compete.com 73,787,766 people
visited this website in January 2009.

Squidoo - 4,810,710 visitors in January 09.

MySpace - 53,066,785 visitors in February 09.

Not to mention there are thousands of other
websites out there — JUST LIKE THESE ONES!

And get this.

——————————————
ALL OF THEM ARE GROWING BIGGER
WITH EACH DAY THAT PASSES!
——————————————

Pretty hard to believe I know but Mike’s
got the stats to prove it right here.

http://donnawells.marketersmanifesto.com/BetterThanGoogle/

So what exactly does all this mean?

And more importantly what does it have
to do with YOU and YOUR BUSINESS?

Simple.

If you can manage to step in front of
this mammoth tidal wave of people…

(the millions that are already online
and the billions that will soon follow)

And IF you do it the right way…

(Renegade Professional will show you how)

You’ll find it takes almost no effort at
all to have more prospects than you can
handle fall right into your lap!

And believe me…

When you follow our easy, click-by-click
video tutorials…

IT’S NOT AT ALL HARD TO DO!

Here’s another thing you’ll love seeing.

The prospects for your business that
visit these sites…

——————————————
MAKE MORE MONEY THAN THE AVERAGE
PERSON AND SPEND MORE OF THE
MONEY THAT THEY MAKE!
——————————————

And you shouldn’t need me to help you
figure out what that means! :-)

Believe me I could talk about this stuff
forever because it gets me so worked up!

Instead I’m going to hold off and point
you towards the video where Mike covers
all of it.

Just click on the link below to find out
what I’m so excited about.

http://donnawells.marketersmanifesto.com/BetterThanGoogle/

Talk to you soon.

Ann Sieg

Ann Sieg

P.S. Remember me saying I wanted to give
you more info about our training program
so you could make a logical decision
about it before it comes out?

Well, that kind of backfired on me!

Because in the past few days I’ve had
even more people than before begging
me to accept their order RIGHT NOW!

Plus, another 2,430 people joined the
Renegade Professional early bird list.

Which means there’s a grand total of
27,249 waiting in line!

Both Mike and I have never seen anything
like this in our entire careers.

We never dreamed it would get THIS BIG and
we’ll probably have to limit the number
of clients we can take on.

BUT I’M GETTING AHEAD OF MYSELF HERE.

Because there’s still a bunch more free
stuff coming your way to help you get
a clear picture of how this is all
going to work.

In fact, the next thing you’re going
to get is an actual video tutorial
from inside Renegade Professional.

That’s right!

You’ll get to see EXACTLY how to get
started with Squidoo –- one of the
social marketing websites that I
mentioned earlier.

By the way, when I say “exactly” I
mean Mike actually telling you what
to do and where to go CLICK-BY-CLICK!

So please stay tuned :-)

  1. Mike,

I’ve seen this video a couple times before it was officially released.

Now here I am watching it again for a 3rd time!

Who would have ever thought anyone with a computer and an internet connection could generate leads, sales, and income for their business without having to spend a dime on advertising!

    Powerful, incredibly powerful!

These websites you talk about level the playing field for all small business owners — if they could only all see this amazing potential and harness it.

Thanks to the internet this is truly a unique time for network marketers.

All I can say is WOW!

  4. Hi Ann and Mike,
I applied Mike’s suggestions about Twitter from his free video. That was on Monday. Today is Thursday morning. In the last 3 days I’ve added over 500 new followers and developed one potential relationship and I still not completely sure what I’m doing. Can’t wait for the two of you to give us the step by step details. Dan

You are on the leading edge of this marketing system, and I like many others I am sure, will begin to use these new tools to our best adavntage.

  8. Mike,

The Better than Google tutorial, was awesome and very informative. I love the lines about learning to be you, being authentic & being yourself. Do what you naturally love to do, this makes it fun.

All joking aside, if we don’t catch this Social Networking wave, that’s growing daily by leaps & bounds. You will find yourself being far behind your neighbor who might have just started the day before you and only setup their account.

Guess what their in the game and your still on the sidelines, wishing & waiting. Now is the time to take action, massive action and learn how to become part of the game. The tutorials within the University should me how and they can also show you how.

I was taught in a step by step manner that anyone, including my 7yr old could do. So why not you. What are you waiting on?

  19. Sandy, and anyone else with video/audio problems, this won’t be a cure all for everyone’s individual software or connectivity issues, but first thing to try is to not use wireless not on longer videos of this high definition. Plug directly into net connection at source (wall or modem).

That will address 75% of these kinds of issues.

  26. I fully believe in the power of social networking, and we have just barely scratched the surface of what is possible. With new applications like Google Friend Connect coming into the mix, this is a constantly evolving medium to be a part of.

That is why it is absolutely vital to be plugged into a network that is staying on top of current trends. Mike clearly demonstrates that he has his finger on the pulse of social networking. I am so glad to be a part of this community, because I know I will be able to help others get the information they need, by pointing them in Mike’s direction. Of course, the longer I study under Mike and Ann, the more value I can personally bring to the table, as well.

  28. I’ve had a few people email me because they are desperate to get into the Renegade Professional promo action (as will as the training of course).

One lady told me she is going nuts and someone else said they couldn’t sleep(which is good because you can create content when that happens, just ask Mike and Ann).

I’ve created a blog post with a detailed video showing how to leverage all of the excellent free content Ann and Mike are releasing. Basically how you can start building your own list using what Mike is talking about…right now.

I’ve also made the html code for the landing pages I created for anyone that wants them so they can just copy, paste and get straight into action.

On that post I also put a Youtube video I found of Ann discussing the topic of understanding your prospects thought processes…awesome stuff & totally on target for promoting the Renegade Pro.

You can read the post and see the videos over at my Easy Renegade Blog

    Happy promoting!

Ann has just addeed that more punch to it and when it relaunches at the end of the month, I can only imagine what is in store for all of us. These videos do not even scratch the surface of what I have learned inside the University.

  30. I am 85 yrs. old, but very young at heart, and a leader in failure with MLM companies for over 40 yrs. because as you pointed out I tried to be something or somebody I am not. You have given me genuine hope and confidence that at long last I am going to make it big.
Question: Like someone else mentioned I do not really have the business I want to promote decided yet, so is there still an advantage to getting set up on the social media sites?
Thanks from the heart of my bottom, OOPS! I mean the other way around, for all you have done for us, and with many hundreds of others I look forward to the grand opening of Renegade Professional.
    Gratefully, Len

    Comment by Len Kramer — March 12, 2009 @ 8:33 pm

  31. Hey there Len,

I’m sure Ann or Mike will respond but here’s my 2 cents worth…

With that much experience in mlm failure :-), I would say you are well equipped to write about one of the sorest topics in the whole industry. You also have a wonderful resource to send these people to in The Renegade Professional.

Maybe you could focus on helping people through the Professional and think about getting a company later on.

I think what you will find when you start working with this new model, over time you will find your groove as Mike says. When this happens you will automatically know what mlm company is going to suit you and your new way of working.

I can see the slogan on your website now, “A mlm leader with 40 years of failure, I’m here for the long haul”.

All jokes aside though, this is a hot niche and your experience will make it easy for you to create content that is perfectly aligned with attracting people to the Renegade Professional.

How about being a Renegade Professional coach?

All the best with your progress and I for one, will be looking out for a young at heart 85 year old leader to hit the social media scene…I look forward to that!

    Cheers,

I finally got to watch the interview and Bette than Google videos, I haven’t been this pumped up in a long time. Much like Mike I’ve been in Network marketing sense the mid 90’s however, unlike Mike I never found an answer that worked for me, I got the Renegade a while ago and have been struggling. Even though I understand and agree with the information I never really found the fuel to feed the fire but now, the fire is hot and the videos thus far are tremendous fuel for making the furnace glow even hotter. Keep them coming!

  35. Spending some time to read through the wonderful comments–would love to respond to more, but for the moment will respond to Len (a few posts up) who asked…

“…I do not really have the business I want to promote decided yet, so is there still an advantage to getting set up on the social media sites?”

Steve Anderson answered the question well directly below the question. I just thought to confirm to everyone who has tried and struggled in MLM or any business for that matter… If you’re NOT in a business now but still have that inspirational drive to give, participate and SUCCEED–Then YES–if that is YOU–jumping on board social media and attraction marketing will position you extremely well once you find the business right for you. Why? Because you’ll be getting familiar with the tools and comfortable with the landscape AS YOU attract an audience. From there, it will be a simple step to turn your ‘network’ into cash flow in a variety of ways (from finding the RIGHT networking opportunity OR, affiliate products you can recommend, or even creating your own product or charging for consulting / coaching time).

See, what you’re doing now is the part that was always left out in business education for those in MLM–that is… How to attract an audience of people interested in YOU (based on the things you choose to talk about, and the kinds of things you like to talk about… these are people who will come to trust you and respect your opinion and suggestions about products (or services & opportunities) related to the industries you decide to associate with. The mystery of business building success is now gone.

Whether you’re in a business today, or you have the driving need to find one right for you, start by getting familiar with the tools and study what others are doing here who are successfully attracting business to them in their chosen field.

As today’s video showed, social media isn’t just “where the people are,” it’s where they will continue to go… talk about a huge expanding market! In addition, the people here have more income to spend than those not here! Put all that together, with the understanding that this is free, and well, I think everyone who made it this far in my reply “gets it” !

Anyone in business or who wants to be in a business should start by getting familiar with the social media tools and study those who successfully use them to serve and succeed!

  37. Hi Ann & Mike,

The videos as well the Manifesto book are excellent. I am extremely excited. However, I have great concern. The company I am associated with states that we can not use a website outside of the company website for advertising online. Am I really advertising if I never mention the company, I only talk about wellness issues. However, our company website will appear on our Twitter sight, and other sights that you guys suggest to us as a link. What do you think?

    Comment by Bobby Earl Carmon — March 13, 2009 @ 11:04 pm

  38. I am fairly certain that your company restricts you from having a website that discusses their product names and trademark names, which is reasonable. If that’s the case, it’s actually good news because as you create content online you will be forced to discuss topics related to wellness (which is attractive) rather than selling your products before establishing trust.

I doubt very much that a company can legally restrict you from participating in dialogue online as you have just done, about any topic you choose (without using their trademark names). That would violate the 1st amendment (freedom of speech.). I doubt that and suspect they just don’t want you to use their trademark names, so to protect themselves from you making illegal health or income claims.

No one can stop you from joining the conversation on the Internet, offering help to others who need it, offering your opinions, views and reviewing good books you’ve read, etc.
No one can stop you from offering to help others (soon you will be able to do that because millions of newbies will be coming this direction in the coming months and you’ll be ahead of all of them in the learning curve). No one can stop you from talking about how cool ‘Twitter’ is, or about what you did to attract relationships to you online (people who have interest in topics you know about). No one can stop you from creating your own email list, of whom you can communicate to as you see fit (without use of trademark names of course).

Don’t use the company’s trademark names… focus on the benefits and topics (controversial or newsworthy) associated with your industry… share your opinions, teach others how to use tools online, etc. Only on the phone, after generating a prospect, should you disclose product names if the company doesn’t allow you to use their trademarks.

This is the very reason why it is best to lead with your own product first (like a video they can access on ‘how to get your kids to eat their vegetables’ or an email series on ‘how to lose weight the healthy way, etc’. Then, put your number all around and save the sales convo and use of trademark names for the phone.

    Mike

    Comment by Mike Klingler — March 14, 2009 @ 7:38 am

  39. To follow up on my last message, you may ask your company if you can use the company trademark names in email correspondence with your prospects. If so, you can also discuss them there… though again, personally, I would save this for the phone.

    Here’s the bigger point:

Instead of linking from Twitter to your company website, link to a blog instead. Or link to a lead capture page that provides ‘more value’ of some kind.

What you want to do is establish trust in your ‘area’ of expertise.

Sure, you ‘can’ link Twitter to your company page but how much trust will you have established at that point? Not much.

Instead, use Twitter to direct people to more value… or to your email list where you can provide more value. If your company allows you to use their trademark names in email, you ‘could’ do it there.

But again, I’d save that for the phone (people use this model in various ways so this is up to you).

I would personally offer value at my blog and emails (and get them on my email list). I would post an article on my blog or Squidoo lens discussion controversial health/wellness topics (if I was still in that industry). I would direct people at Twitter and in my email list to see those. This builds my credibility and trust.

When I send an email or twitter my phone number and offer a free consultation about a need I fulfill (or if I direct people to an article on my blog and at the end I invite them to call me) many WILL call me because they will see I can help them solve the very problems your products solve. They will trust your recommendations.

It is so powerful. Once you make the switch the entire business process changes in your favor.

    Hope this helps!

The minute I started doing this instead of just blasting out an affiliate link my opt-ins went up noticeably.

In fact, it’s working so well I’m building a second “personal” blog just for my social media sites to link to. So folks can learn more about me in a more natural, friendly, non-threatening way.

Think of a personal blog as a “scrapbook” of all the things you love… including your business. I’ll let you know how it pans out once it goes live next week.

  44. I have been involved in a number of MLM companies in the past, and failed at them all. Your 7 lies about network marketing attracted me and from there I purchased The Renegade Network Marketer because The 7 Lies struck a note with me. I am very encouraged by them and the video. I am wanting to find another MLM but don’t know which one to chose. I already have an Organic Deli that keeps me busy 14 hrs a day but I’m not making any money. My interest would be in Nutrition or Natural Products.

  45. I want to thank Steve Anderson and Mike Klinger for their responses to my comment. I am more encouraged and confident with each contact with y’all. I live about 25 miles and 14 inches from the Canadian border, so I guess that makes me a Southerner.
Anyway, it is so great to face the day now with new hope and energy. I’m looking forward to getting up a blog plus participating and offering hope and counsel to others on the social media.
    Blessings to one and all,

  48. WOW! Great content with sincerity and passion… from the very first word.
I am a coach to some of the top CEO’s in the U.S. and Canada and I teach them from the same principles that you talked about….does it make a difference…you bet it does! Buy changing their thoughts about themselves, their business and their clients it always takes them to the next level which is what you are doing for your clients.

Congratulations!!! your message is coming through loud and clear “GIVE before you take”

    Peace be with you always!

  52. So much free stuff! This is great. There is also Renegade University, which as of now, has a new section called Renegade Classroom. I haven’t noticed to much promotion of it, but it’s terrific. And it’s also free to start a Renegade University account. You’ll find that it’s quite a natural progression to upgrade to Renegade Professional from there.

I’m also offering a bonus with 5 hours of coaching to ensure you get off to a productive start with Renegade Professional. Check out that offer here -> Renegade Professional Bonus
